J. Morris

J. Morris has published fiction, poetry, and criticism in many magazines in the U.S. and Great Britain. His work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and reprinted in Twentieth Century Literary Criticism and Anatomy of a Short Story (Continuum Press). No Record Press published his story collection, When I Snap My Fingers You Will Remember Everything in 2016. A chapbook, The Musician, Approaching Sleep, is available from Dos Madres Press. His musical project, Mulberry Coach released The Last Giraffe, its seventh CD, in 2017. A lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C., area, Morris has taught for many years at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, Maryland. His first novel, Staring Down the Sun, is forthcoming.
